DAVID AMIR is an American entrepreneur, inventor, and author whose journey from prison to receiving a utility patent has inspired audiences across the country.
While serving time, he developed a clothing design that would later become the foundation of his patented workwear innovation. Since his release, David has navigated entrepreneurship, partnerships, setbacks, and legal battles—while continuing to pursue his vision. His story highlights resilience, faith, and the power of protecting one’s ideas.
David’s first published book, Thread by Thread: Reinventing Myself Through Design speaks about perseverance, innovation, and the importance of thinking beyond limitations. His second book, The Police Chief & The Ex-Con: An Unlikely Friendship, Broken Trust, and Hard Truths is the personal true story of an unlikely friendship between a police chief and himself, a convicted felon—and the lessons that remained long after their partnership ended.
